'We Are Here To Deliver,' PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi Shuts Reporter On Cricket Knowledge Question

Pakistan Cricket Board chief Mohsin Naqvi hit back at a journalist who questioned his understanding of cricket. Since assuming the office, Naqvi has received massive backlash for heading multiple departments. 

Notably, the businessman-turned-politician also serves as Federal Minister for Interior Pakistan and is hence accused of not paying enough attention to his responsibilities as PCB head. 

In fact, Naqvi recently appointed legendary seamer Waqar Younis to oversee the cricketing matters, restricting himself only to the administrative department.

Meanwhile, the PCB chairman lost his cool during a press conference, lashing out at a journalist who questioned his cricket knowledge. 

As the reporter took a dig at his negligence, Naqvi dismissed his claims, reverberating to win the people's trust through actions. 

"Time will tell how much I know about cricket but we are here to deliver. I don't care about what people say but you will see the results," Naqvi was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan. 

He also revealed his plans to improve Pakistan Cricket at the grassroots level. 

"I am bringing in former stars to vet and improve the cricket system and end this culture of personal likes and dislikes," he added. 

Notably, the PCB recently launched three new tournaments to strengthen its domestic structure. The board also made a praiseworthy decision, giving its domestic players a pay raise.
