Kolkata Knight Riders scripted history as they clinched their 3rd IPL trophy after 10 complete years. The excitement, the emotions were palpable as the team celebrated their much-deserved victory. One of whom was KKR's explosive finisher, Rinku Singh, who was pumped up with excitement and couldn't let go of the trophy.

In a video shared by the official 'X' handle of Indian Premier League, Rinku Singh's infectious energy can be be felt right through the lens. He looks absolutely joyous as he utters the words, 'Gods Plan' and tightly embraces the trophy as he says,' First trophy, after a long time sir, feeling outstanding.'

He is then seen running around the field and hugging all his teammates in excitement and then goes on to say:

"It's a wonderful feeling, I have played with this team for 7 years and after 7 whole years we've finally got the chance to lift the trophy. I just want to say that it feels like my dream has come true but one more dream is pending and that is the World Cup. 

I'm leaving for the USA soon all by myself... can't wait to lift the World Cup trophy with my hands just like this IPL trophy."

While, Rinku Singh did not make it to the 15 member squad for the upcoming ICC tournament, he is indeed the part of the travelling reserves alongside Shubman Gill, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan.

About his IPL 2024 journey, he has amassed 168 runs this season at a decent strike rate of 148.67, unlike last year he did not get too many opportunities in time, however he did give his all and that has somewhere resulted in KKR winning the IPL 2024 season.
