Indian star opener, Shikhar Dhawan who made headlines as he left the IPL 2024 season mid-way due to an injury is back in the news but this time with rumours surrounding a second marriage. As per reports, Dhawan is expected to tie the knot soon with Former Indian skipper, Mithali Raj.

While responding to these rumours on his 'Dhawan Karenge' on Jio Cinema, Shikhar Dhawan laughed thus putting an end to the rumours and said:

"I heard that I was getting married to Mithali Raj." 

The last couple of years have been troublesome for Dhawan due to his strained relationship with his now ex-wife, Aesha Mukerji. After being married for over 12 years, they ended their marriage last year on grounds of "cruelty" inflicted on the cricketer by his estranged wife. The two have an adorable 10-year old son called Zoraver, who has not met his father Dhawan for a very long time. 

From work perspective, he has not been seen in action for a long-time now while he was last seen in IPL 2024 he was forced to leave them mid-way due to shoulder injury but he is often engaged in entertainment industry.
