Umpire Anil Chaudhary has not only made a name for himself via his on-field skills but is also taking over the internet by his social media interactions.

Recently, Chaudhary appeared on the famous 'Podcast with Shubhankar Mishra', where he shed light on Rohit Sharma's batting and also busted the myth around him that he carries a casual attitude on the field.

Chaudhary urged the fans not to be deceived by what is seen on the TV and remarked the hitman as one of the sharpest players with a great cricket IQ. He said:

"Rohit aapko lagta casual hai par bahot smart player hai. Iss chakkar mein na padna aap. He is very smart. Cricketing IQ bahut achha hai uska, means game ki samajh (Rohit may seem casual, but he's a very smart player, don't get fooled thinking otherwise; His Game sense is very good."

"Uski Batting se idea nahi aata aapko. Jab wo batting karta hai to lagta hai 120 pe bowling ho rahi hai.  Jab dusra batting karta hai to lagta hai 160 pe ho rahi hai."  (you can't guess his sharp mind from his batting When he's batting, it seems someone is bowling at 120 kmph, but when someone else is batting, the speed seems like 160 kmph," Chaudhary added.

Anil Chaudhary Slams Mohammad Rizwan

Recently, Chaudhary had slammed Rizwan for his unnecessary appeals during a cricket match. He added that he often tells his co-umpire to keep a keen eye on Mohammad Rizwan and not get under the influence of his false appeals.

"I've officiated against Pakistan in the Asia Cup, Mohammad Rizwan keeps appealing every now and then. I told the other umpire also that he keeps appealing so keep a note. He keeps jumping like a pigeon," Anil Chaudhary said.

Nonetheless, Rizwan continues to be Pakistan's top-choice wicket-keeper and is currently participating in the ongoing Bangladesh Test at Rawalpindi.
