As the Asia Cup 2025 is knocking on the door, Bangladesh is sharpening its weapons, aiming for a successful campaign. As they are facing the Netherlands in a three-match T20I series, the Tigers are showcasing domination on their home soil.

After a dominating victory in the second match, Bangladesh named the series. Reflecting on the triumph, skipper Litton Das heaped praise on his team’s outstanding performance.

Setting sights firmly on the upcoming assignments, the Bangladesh side is not leaving any stones unturned on their preparations. In the ongoing three-match T20 series against the Netherlands, they showcased domination and lead the series 2-0. In the last match, the Tigers showcased grit and clinched the match by a dominating 9-wicket margin.

In the second T20I, the Tigers played a team game and sealed the series with a thrilling victory. Speaking after the match, skipper Litton Das credited the entire squad, applauding their dominance and collective effort.

“Not really. As a captain I want to win every series, but it's not possible. Credit to the team. They working hard last two weeks, we had a camp here and they put extra effort in practice. They executed their plans and how to bowl well on this wicket,” the Bangladesh skipper said.

Heartfelt Praises For Mustafizur And Taskin Ahmed

In the ongoing series, Bangladesh’s bowling attack is grabbing attention. As Taskin Ahmed shone with an outstanding four-wicket haul in the first game, Nasum Ahmed shone in the last match. Along with them, veteran pacer Mustafizur Rahman showcased his unreal consistency. After sealing the series, skipper Litton Das lauded the bowlers for their match-winning efforts.

“You all know, how Fizz and Taskin is. Nasum is not playing much but he did well. We will try to build our team day by day. A good sign is whoever comes into the team are delivering and if you win, everything will be fine,” he added.

After wrapping up both matches, Bangladesh and the Netherlands will face each other in the third T20I match of the series on September 3. While the Tigers aim for a clean sweep, the visitors will fight to finish the series with a victory.
