The recent iconic pink-ball test in Adelaide has been in the talks for all the right as well as wrong reasons. Besides a dominating performance from Australia's side, India's star pacer Mohammed Siraj has also been in the headlines because of his on-field verbal spat with Travis Head.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has shared his two cents on Mohammed Siraj's fiery on-field demeanour, acknowledging the pacer's knack for getting under the opposition's skin.

Rohit Shares Thoughts On Siraj's Aggressive Send-Off

'DSP' Mohammed Siraj policing Travis Head with an aggressive send-off had sparked debate, with the former even collecting boos from the Adelaide crowd. However, Rohit, sees it as a positive attribute.

"In the past, we have seen so many cricketers who likes that battle and Siraj is definitely one of them," Rohit said in a post-match conference.

Even after acknowledging the attitude, Rohit also cautioned against crossing a certain behavioural threshold that might disrespect the game.

"But again like I said, There's a thin line between getting aggressive and getting too aggressive and crossing that line," Rohit added.

Siraj, Head Shares Warm Hug To Dissipate 'On-Field Heat'

The much-talked-about incident occurred on Day 2 of Australia's first innings when Siraj dismissed Travis Head. After his dismissal, Head visibly displayed frustration and made abusive gestures toward Siraj. Siraj did not take kindly to this and responded with an aggressive send-off.

However, Head later admitted in a post-match press conference that he merely acknowledged Siraj's delivery and claimed there was nothing abusive about his gestures.

In a surprising turn of events at the beginning of Day 3, Siraj dismissed Head's claims, stating that Head was lying in the conference. Despite this disagreement, both Head and Siraj ultimately shook hands and shared a warm hug after the match, clearing up the misunderstanding.

"Siraj has come out and said it was a bit of a misunderstanding. We'll move on, let's not ruin a great week. Me and Siraj are sweet, and we move on," Travis told as per ABC Sport.

After Australia's win in Adelaide, the series is now level at 1-1. India will look to bounce back with a win in Brisbane to take a commanding lead in the five-match series.
