Riding on pacer's incredible effort, Australia bowled India out for 175 runs in their second innings of the ongoing Test match at Adelaide Oval. Scott Boland hit the final nail in the coffin for the home side, outfoxing India's prominent pacer Mohammed Siraj with his nagging accuracy.

Coincidentally, Siraj's on-field rival Travis Head was the one who caught the ball, as the visitors lost their final wicket to conclude the innings. The incident occurred during the 37th over of India's second innings when Siraj was batting alongside Bumrah as the last batting pair.

Travis Head's Catch Ends Siraj's Stay In The Middle

Australian captain Pat Cummins, who rattled India with a sensational fifer, brought Scott Boland into the attack. The seasoned campaigner delivered for his team, dismissing Siraj as the final Indian wicket.

From over the wicket, Boland bowled a good-length delivery around the off-stump, as Siraj charged down the track to play a lofted shot. However, he miscued the shot, with the ball gobbling up in the air for a long time.

Travis Head, who struck a blazing hundred in the first innings, placed himself nicely under the ball and claimed a clean catch to send the fast bowler packing. For the unversed, these two players were involved in a heated exchange that became one of the most discussed events on day 2 of the Test match.

Australia Need 19 Runs To Win Adelaide Test

Riding on Cummins' fifer, Australia reduced India to a paltry score in the second innings. The hosts need only 19 runs to win this match and level the series with three games to go.
