The India and Bangladesh U-19 Asia Cup final is currently underway at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss, India chose to bowl first and has held Bangladesh to a total of 198 runs.

While impressive spells from Yudhajit Guha, Hardik Raj, and Chetan Sharma tore apart Bangladesh, the rest of India’s young-guns showcased spectacular fielding to ably compliment them in order to make it happen. One highlight was when Bangladesh's Debasish Sarkar was brilliantly caught by Hardik Raj, who leaped into the air to make a stunning catch off a delivery from Kartikeya KP.

Hardik's Athletic Catch Stuns Bangladesh Batter

Debasish, who was fresh at the crease facing Karthikeya, attempted an inside-out shot on a length delivery. However, the ball hit the other side of the bat and flew towards the gully where Hardik Raj was positioned.

Without hesitation, Hardik threw himself into the air, stretching his arms to safely grab the ball. Raj's athletic move sent Debasish back to the pavilion after just one run from the three balls he faced.

India Restricts Bangladesh Within A  Modest Total

As the Bangladeshi batters took their turns at the crease, Abrar and Mohammad Shihab James played modest innings, with the latter scoring 47 runs off 65 balls. Additionally, Faisal contributed with 39 runs, helping Bangladesh post a total of 198 runs on the board. Indian bowlers, including Chetan Sharma, Yudhajit and Hardik, took two wickets while Karthikeya and Chormale secured one each, effectively limiting Bangladesh's score.

After the innings break, India is aiming to chase down this modest target and etch their name on the Under-19 Asia Cup Final trophy.  As, Vaibhav and Ayush Mhatre fell within first five overs, all eyes will be on skipper Mohammed Aman and Siddarth, as India relies on their performance for a successful chase.
