Speaking at the CEAT Cricket Awards, Shreyas Iyer explained that despite Rohit's tendency to use vague terms like "yeh" and "woh," the team has no trouble grasping his intentions.

Having played with him for so many years, the players have learned to fill in the gaps and understand exactly what their captain means.

“We have to fill in the words. Woh, yeh, usko, isko. So these words are for us to fill. We just visualise, who and what it is that he is talking about. But we understand his feelings; we've been playing with him for so many years," Iyer was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

It is worth mentioning that, at the prestigious CEAT Cricket Awards held in Mumbai on August 21, 2024, Rohit Sharma was honoured with the esteemed Men’s International Cricketer of the Year award.

In addition, Shreyas Iyer received recognition for his exceptional leadership during the IPL 2024 season, wherein he skilfully captained the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to a championship victory.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will be next seen in action against Bangladesh in the two-match Test series. On the other hand, Iyer will be participating in the Duleep Trophy 2024-25 and will be leading Team D.
