Delhi-born Bollywood actor Karan Wahi, a familiar face in Indian households due to his daily soap and movie appearances, shares a long-standing connection with Indian legend Virat Kohli and opening sensation Shikhar Dhawan.

In an old interview with India Times, the actor revealed that his connection with Virat Kohli dates back to their school days. Although they had never played cricket together, they had been on opposite teams numerous times in the early days.

Wahi and Shikhar Dhawan, friends since nursery, share a unique bond that has been nurtured through shared experiences of growing up together and playing cricket at school, college, and the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDC).

Wahi, who once aspired to be a cricketer and played for Delhi's U-19 team, has been spotted with Virat Kohli numerous times. They have been seen together at various events, from Ad shoots to parties in Mumbai, which have always been a topic of discussion among fans and the media.

'He was my junior'  Reveals Karan Wahi About Virat Kohli

“I have never played with Virat, though we are really good friends and go long back. He was my junior and was in another school, so we often played against each other rather than together. On the other hand, Shikhar & I have been friends since nursery. We literally grew up together. We have played a lot of cricket in school, college, and then in the DDC academy together.”

A freak injury abruptly ended Karan Wahi's cricketing dreams. However, he found a silver lining and transitioned into the entertainment industry.
