Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer sported dashing looks to glam up the CEAT Awards 2024. The award ceremony was organized in Mumbai on Wednesday, August 21. Several Indian cricketers, as well as a couple of overseas stars were rewarded for their cricketing excellence over the past one year with souvenirs at the CEAT event.

A day after the CEAT Awards 2024, Shreyas Iyer took to his Instagram account to share a bunch of pictures from the ceremony. The cricketer shared pictures of himself alongside Indian captain Rohit Sharma, and the two can be seen sporting dashing looks to glam up the gala.

Shreyas Iyer was also spotted alongside New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee and English batter Phil Salt on stage. In the caption, the Indian cricketer expressed his admiration towards CEAT for recognizing him under the “Outstanding Leadership Award in T20 League” category, considering he led the KKR franchise to IPL 2024 win earlier this year.

While Shreyas Iyer was rewarded for his IPL 2024 captaincy, Rohit Sharma was declared the CEAT Men’s International Cricketer of the Year. Rising star Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ravichandran Ashwin took home the Test batting and bowling awards respectively. Sharma’s teammates Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami bagged the same under the ODI category for their prolific run in the past year.

Englishman Phil Salt won the T20I batter of the year, while New Zealand paceman Tim Southee snared T20I cricket’s bowler of the year award.
