Prabath Jayasuriya bowled a ripper to knock over England vice-captain, Harry Brook on the second day of the first Test between England and Sri Lanka.

The talented off-spinner bowled a ripper and Brook looked shell-shocked as he was beaten by a delivery which could very well be termed as the 'ball of the century.'

Sri Lanka scored 236 runs in their first innings, and in reply, England got off to a quick-fire start, courtesy of their openers. However, they lost the plot in the middle with Sri Lanka snatching wickets. However, it was Harry Brook, who once again stood tall and counter-punched the Sri Lankan bowlers with his aggressive batting.

Jayasuriya recreates Shane Warne special to dismiss Harry Brook

He reached his fifty in no time, and Sri Lanka were in a dire need of a wicket, when Jayasuriya raised his hands and bowled a peach of a delivery to end his knock.

The Sri Lankan spinner bowled an off-break on the middle stump and drifted away sharply to beat the outside-edge and knock the stumps. Brook was standing on the back-foot and had a baffling look on his face as he was bamboozled by a sharp turn that reminded fans of Shane Warne.

Sticking to the similar pattern, he then cleaned up Chris Woakes with an identical delivery.

Talking about the England innings, apart from Brook, it was Jamie Smith who continued the good work, and is batting at 72 off 97 deliveries. At stumps on Day 2, the hosts are 259/6, leading by 23 runs.
