India's hard-hitting opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has been phenomenal with the bat, wreaking havoc against England with two double-centuries in the two games, taking the side to a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

Having batted 236 balls, Jaiswal tonked 214 not out with as many as 12 sixes to name, registering a world record and helping India earn the victory by 434 runs in the third Test at Rajkot.

The youngster has been quite impressive on the international circuit, but to most, he made his name during the Indian Premier League (IPL) batting for Rajasthan Royals. Now, his opening partner in RR and English limited-overs skipper Jos Buttler has heaped high praises for the left-hander.

Writing on his Instagram story, Buttler was ecstatic to see Jaiswal scoring runs with ease, but he thought it was a shame that it all came against his side, England. However, the big-hitter ultimately believed that it is Yashasvi's talent, hunger and work ethic that took him this far.

"Shame he's doing it against England but very hard not be so happy for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Getting everything he deserves from his talent, hunger and work ethic. What a Star!"

Buttler's sentiments were raw and in the purest form, considering the duo have spent a considerable amount of time together in the Rajasthan camp during the past few seasons in the IPL.

They would next be seen together in the upcoming season as well, but before that, Jaiswal will be featuring in the two remaining games in the series, with the upcoming one to be played in Ranchi from 23rd February.
