KL Rahul will likely be making his return back into the Indian team for the fourth Test of their five-match home series against England. After playing the series opener at Hyderabad, the cricketer was ruled out of the second Test match, as he complained of right quadriceps pain earlier this month.

The seasoned campaigner has already been working his way towards attaining full recovery, and will likely be deemed fit enough to play the final two matches, as per recent reports.

KL Rahul likely to return for fourth IND vs ENG Test

Earlier in February, KL Rahul visited the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to recuperate from the quadriceps injury he sustained after the conclusion of the first Test match at Hyderabad. The cricketer was also spotted sweating it out in the nets just a couple of days prior to the launch of the Rajkot Test.

While Rahul’s injury has already kept him out of the second and third Test of the series, he will reportedly be making his return back into the Indian team for the upcoming five-day affair in Ranchi.

The 31-year-old punched out a sizzling 86 during the first Indian innings at Hyderabad. However, he failed to replicate his efforts during the run-chase where Team India fell down to a 28-run defeat to concede an early lead to England.

The fourth Test match of the series between India and the visiting Englishmen will be staged between February 23 and February 27. The much-awaited contest will be hosted by the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.
