India's fighting young opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has impressed one and all with his resilient batting in his short career, most recently against England, where he smacked double hundreds in two consecutive games to help the country gain a 2-1 lead in the series.

Most people know about his hard work story and where he comes from, adding how he has managed to crack a place in the side. Now, not just his batting but some words that he spoke after the conclusion of the third Test in Rajkot are winning hearts over the internet.

Speaking to broadcaster JioCinema, Jaiswal revealed his struggle in the early days relating to the hard work that he has put in all these years. The left-hander expressed that in a country like India, even getting onto a bus, train, or auto is difficult, which has taught him a lot in all these years, hence, he understands the value of every innings.

"In India, when you grow up, you work really hard for each and everything. Even when getting the bus you have to work really hard to get the bus. You have to work really hard to get to the train and auto and everything and I have done that since my childhood and I know how important every innings is and that's why I really work hard in my sessions and every innings counts for me and for my team that is my biggest motivation to play for my country and I just make sure that whenever I'm there I need to give my 100% and then enjoy."

Jaiswal, opening the innings with Rohit, couldn't do much in the first innings but came back strongly in the second innings by hitting 214* to steal the show and take India to an undeniably strong position from where only one result was possible as the home side earned a massive victory by 434 runs.

The upcoming two Tests will be paramount to both sides, with WTC points at stake. Next game of the series will be played in Ranchi from 23rd February.
