'Rishabh Can Do It Better Than Sanju': Ian Bishop Bashes Fan For Fake Tweet

Former West Indies Cricketer, Ian Bishop, was accused of making certain remarks on air comparing Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow on April 12, 2024.  

The West Indies cricketer was left agitated and angry after a fan tweeted a fake tweet on 'X'(formerly Twitter). 

He shared the picture of the cricketer with a statement mentioning a comparison between Sanju and Rishabh and their rigid competition to mark a place in the upcoming T20 World Cup squad that is likely to be announced by the end of April. 



The tweet read: “Ian Bishop on live commentary: ‘Anything Samson can do, Rishabh Pant can do it better.’ He's spitting facts.”

Another fan tagged Bishop in the same tweet to make things clear, reacting to this the Windies legend was left disgusted and annoyed at the false remark and replied to it stating: "You really think that's how I operate?". 

Ian Bishop is currently part of the commentary box for IPL 2024 for Star Sports.

Rishabh Pant made his comeback to the competitive field 15 months after recovering from a car accident in December 2022, and he has smashed two consecutive fifties scoring 194 runs in 6 matches in IPL 2024 so far. 

On the other hand, Sanju Samson has scored 246 runs and is fourth on the orange cap list with three fifties so far.
