Ravi Ashwin And Wasim Jaffer Have Fun At Michael Vaughan's Expense On Social Media

In the second semi-final match between India and England, Rohit Sharma & Co outplayed England and won by a massive margin of 68 runs to reach the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup on Thursday. 

Ashwin's Hilarious Dig On Michael Vaughan's Post 

After this win, former England skipper Michael Vaughan was trolled and criticised as he took the social media to 'congratulate' India with a cryptic post in which he wrote: 

 "India thoroughly deserve to be in the final .. The best team in tournament so far .. Was always going to hard for England on this pitch .. India just so much better on lower slower spinning pitches."

To one of his posts, India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin gave a hilarious reply with a weird maths formula, which left everyone in splits.


The former England captain earlier blamed the fixtures for favouring India, later on after India won against England he tweeted that 'India deserved to win'. 

After Ashwin's hilarious post Wasim Jaffer also did not leave the opportunity to troll him and on Twitter uploaded a video in which he asked about Vaughan's health. 

Talking about the match, England won the toss and invited India to bat first, in a game that was interrupted by rain India posted a total of 171/7 in 20 overs, with significant contributions from Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. 

Later on, Indian spinners showcased their class and temperament as they claimed respective three-wicket hauls and with that India bundled out England for 103 and won the semi-final by 68 runs. 

India will now face South Africa on Saturday at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados in a battle of the two unbeaten teams of the tournament.
