Royal Challengers Bengaluru demolished Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 to make it to their first IPL final since the famous 2016 edition. They have played as a team throughout the season, and different players have stepped up in varied situations.

The franchise has not won a single IPL trophy so far, but has a passionate fan following. Thus, since they beat Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1, many of their former cricketers and fans are backing Rajat Patidar's men to create history.

AB De Villiers Confident Of RCB Winning The IPL Trophy

AB de Villiers, who was an integral part of RCB's squad during his playing days has also expressed his happiness over the franchise's journey to the final. He stated with confidence that RCB are going all the way in IPL 2025, but added that he cannot say 'Ee Sala Cup Namde', because Virat Kohli has told him not to do so.

"The time has come. RCB is going all the way. I'm not allowed to say the Bengaluru phrase because Virat told me not to say it anymore. But I truly believe we're going all the way this season. So stay tuned, buckle up, and enjoy the ride."

He also mentioned that this RCB team is different compared to the teams of the past, as previously, only few players like Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle used to take all the burden.

"What excites me most this season is that multiple players are stepping up, not just one or two. It's not just the usual Virat Kohli or, back in the day, a Chris Gayle. Now, we see the whole squad responding under pressure."

Thus, RCB look like a balanced unit in IPL 2025, with many match-winners, and they would be itching to win on June 3 and give their loyal fans a gift for a lifetime.
