The league stage of IPL 2025 is done and dusted, and it was quite an entertaining phase with plenty of thrillers along the way. Only four teams have survived, but there were quality performances from many players of the eliminated teams as well who made sure that their team fight hard throughout the league stage.

Openers

Many openers from different franchises stepped up this season, but Mitchell Marsh and Yashasvi Jaiswal were the best of the lot. They not only scored runs consistently, but also created impact with their high strike-rates. Thus, they are the top-2 openers from the eliminated teams with each one keeping the hopes of their team alive as much as possible.

Middle Order Batters
Nicholas Pooran, KL Rahul, Heinrich Klaasen
At Number 3 will be Nicholas Pooran, who was one of the pillars of LSG's batting line-up along with Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram. He is also one of the clean-hitters of the cricket ball, and scored 524 runs at an average of 43.44 and unbelievable strike-rate of 196.25.
KL Rahul will take the number 4 position. He showed great flexibility in IPL 2025 by scoring runs in the middle order and as an opener. Rahul was one of the major reasons for DC's success in the first half of IPL 2025. Thus, he would be a great reliable option with firepower all around him.

Heinrich Klaasen will take the number five position. He scored most runs for SRH in the season and finished off the edition with a magnificent century. Thus, he will keep wickets and take the important middle order position.
All-Rounders
Axar Patel (C), Vipraj Nigam
The two spin-bowling allrounders from Delhi Capitals will bat in the lower middle order and can deliver with the bowl as well. They were important assets for DC throughout the season, and often turned out to be game-changers with their crucial contributions.
Axar scored 263 runs in 11 innings with a great strike-rate of 157.49 and often played critical cameos. He picked only five wickets, but his utility as an all-rounder makes him an irreplaceable player. His team also finished fifth in the table, thus, he would be the captain of the eliminated hit XI.
Vipraj Nigam is one of the finds of IPL 2025. His power-hitting was a revelation and displayed great temperament under pressure with the bat. With the ball, he picked 11 wickets in 13 innings and fits perfectly into the number seven position.
Bowlers
Khaleel Ahmed, Harshal Patel, Noor Ahmad, Vaibhav Arora
Khaleel Ahmed and Vaibhav Arora will the two pacers who will handle new ball. They could not finish off the season on a high, but turned out to be genuine wicket-takers for their side. Khaleel picked 15 wickets while Vaibhav Arora grabbed 17 wickets in 12 matches.
The third pacer who can perform the role of a death bowler is Harshal Patel. He grabbed 16 wickets in 13 games and often bowled difficult overs with great success this season. Noor Ahmad will be the final overseas star, and he will be the lead spinner of the side as throughout the season, he fought lone battle in the middle overs for CSK.
