'Naa Seat The, Na Bathroom': PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi Slams Conditions Of PAK Stadiums

PCB chief, Mohsin Naqvi has made an explosive remark regarding the conditions of the stadiums in Pakistan. He acknowledged the fact that there is a huge gap between the stadium conditions in Pakistan and other countries.

Naqvi further stated that it is PCB's responsibility to close the gap and make sure that the stadiums are world-class when the time comes for the Champions Trophy 2025. Recently, the PCB chief visited the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, and pointed out the changes in the infrastructure ahead of the marquee event in February.


"There was a world of difference between our stadiums and those in the rest of the world. In no way were they international stadiums; koi bhi stadiums internationally qualify kaar hi nhi shkta tha — na seats the, na bathrooms aur view asa tha ki aap 500 metre door se dekh rahe hai," Naqvi stated.

Naqvi is also hopeful that the Gaddafi Stadium will be able to host key games for next year's Champions Trophy. The PCB chief also has plans to build a world-class hotel near the stadium, however, there is no guarantee that it will be completed by the time February arrives.

Interestingly, there is still no confirmation from the ICC regarding the hosts of the Champions Trophy. Indian team is unwilling to travel, and doubts remain about their participation from the mega event.
