Recently, wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant appeared on one of television's oldest news shows, 'Aap Ki Adalat', to talk about his cricketing life before embarking on his T20 World Cup 2024 journey.

During the interview, when Rajat Sharma asked him about his inspiration, the 24-year-old batter responded by saying that he looks up to the legendary MS Dhoni and that he is his idol. He also mentioned how he has actively reached out to Dhoni for help and guidance, demonstrating his eagerness to learn and improve.

"MS Dhoni bhai is my Idol. I learned a lot from him. Whenever I need any help, I ask him and he's always ready to help and guide".

This is not the first time Pant has talked about his love and admiration for MS Dhoni; in previous interviews, he also mentioned that he shares a deep connection with the veteran cricketer.

Talking about his much-awaited return to Team India, he has stunned everyone with his fitness and performance. He continued his IPL 2024 exploits to the international level, too, as seen during the warm-up match against Bangladesh and more recently in India's opener vs Ireland, where Rishabh Pant's final six behind the keeper won the Men In Blue the game by eight wickets.

He will next be seen in action against India's much-awaited clash with their arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9 at the Nassau County Stadium in New York.
