Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has made bold predictions about Virat Kohli’s performance in the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand. Kohli, who last played in a Test match during India’s South Africa tour in January, missed the home Test series against England due to the birth of his son.

After a challenging period during the T20 World Cup and Sri Lanka tour, Kohli is expected to make a strong comeback.

Basit Ali is confident that Virat Kohli will score "big centuries" in the upcoming Test matches, citing the potential for even a double-century performance. According to Basit Ali, Kohli is primed to rediscover his form and will be a key player for India in these series.

Kohli’s underwhelming performance in recent tournaments, including his modest 151 runs in the T20 World Cup and struggles during the ODI series against Sri Lanka, has led to increased anticipation for his return to Test cricket.

"In the Bangladesh and New Zealand series, you will see big centuries from Virat. Not just 110 or 115, you may see a 200-run knock from him," Basit stated on his YouTube channel.

Ali’s selection includes stalwarts like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja, with Kohli expected to play a pivotal role.
