‘Loving The New Head Band…’: David Warner Admires MS Dhoni’s Look Ahead Of IPL 2024

MS Dhoni recently sparked much excitement among his fans and followers by joining his fellow CSK teammates at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium for an IPL 2024 training session.

The cricketer appears to be revisiting his former appearance, characterized by the resurfacing of his iconic long locks from his early days in the sport. In one of his latest training sessions, Dhoni was also spotted wearing a red head band, which even seems to have won over Delhi Capitals stalwart and Australian legend David Warner.


David Warner impressed with MS Dhoni’s head band

Legendary Australian cricketer David Warner seems to have been left impressed with MS Dhoni’s new hair accessory, the red head band. On March 12, Warner took to his Instagram account where he shared a picture of the CSK skipper alongside a caption:

“Loving the new head band @mahi7781”


MS Dhoni is set to return to the field after a year through the upcoming IPL 2024 season. The legendary wicketkeeper-batsman led the CSK to title victory last year by defeating Gujarat Titans in a high-octane final.

While several fans and experts speculated IPL 2023 to be Dhoni’s final appearance in competitive cricket, the 42-year-old was subsequently retained by the CSK franchise for IPL 2024 during the player retention phase.

David Warner, meanwhile, is set to reprise his role for the Delhi Capitals, albeit as a player. The dashing opening batsman led the franchise last season to cover-up for injured Rishabh Pant. With Pant being declared fully fit for IPL 2024, Warner is set to be relieved of his captaincy duties.
