The IPL 2023 Final had millions of curves and turns as Chennai and Gujarat tried their best hands to bag the silverware, but it was MS Dhoni's Super Kings who clinched their fifth IPL trophy. No one in the stadium could hold onto their emotions after Ravindra Jadeja finished off the fixture with a maximum and a boundary. 

Even MSD, famous for holding his emotions, couldn't keep it to himself as he picked up the CSK all-rounder in his hands. During that emotional moment, it was clearly visible that Thala had tears in his eyes.

After starting the chase with a bang, Chennai lost a couple of wickets in a quick juncture as Noor Ahmad removed both openers in an over. Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu took the pressure lid off by playing impactful cameos for the five-time champions, but GT's Mohit Sharma took the duo and MS Dhoni in his second over of the day.

It followed up with a cracking Mohammed Shami over, where the seamer just gave six runs. Mohit had the ball in hand for the last over of the final, and he nailed four yorkers before Jadeja got the better of the Titans' pacer by smacking a maximum and a boundary to script history for the Super Kings.

It led to a moment that no cricket fan would forget, as Jadeja rushed towards the CSK camp to get hugged and lapped by his captain before the winning team took a victory lap in front of the Ahmedabad crowd.
