Zimbabwe's premier spinner Wellington Masakadza has issued stern warning for India's dynamic batting duo Shubman Gill and Riyan Parag ahead of the second T20I between the two sides at Harare Sports Club. 

The hosts had an outstanding start to the five-match series as they pipped India by 13 runs to go one-nil up. 


Masakadza targets Gill & Parag ahead of 2nd T20I

Ahead of the second T20I, Masakadza vowed to put up a commendable performance for his team. 

He expressed his desire to dominate the RHB-heavy Indian batting unit and dismiss key visiting batters, Shubman Gill and Riyan Parag. 

“I'll be looking to take Shubman Gill's big wicket and some of the right-handers, Parag and some of the other guys in the side. It will be a very good challenge," Masakadza was quoted as saying by The Hindustan Times. 

"They're very good batters. This series will mean a lot to us. If we manage to win the series, it will be a very big thing in our future," he added. 


India aim comeback in 2nd T20I

Having lost the first match, Shubman Gill-led India will aim at resurgence when they face the Chevrons in the second fixture. The Men in Blue have opted to bat, with talented left-handed batter Sai Sudharsan replacing ace speedster Khaleel Ahmed in their playing XI.
