[Watch] Harbhajan Confronts Kamran Akmal Weeks After His Racial Attack On Sikh Community

Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh and former Pakistani keeper-batter Kamran Akmal had a go against each other on July 6 as Pakistan Champions took on India Champions in the World Championships of Legends. 

Pakistan Champions emerged as the better side and registered a win by 68 runs. Kamran Akmal scored a fifty-plus score and smashed Singh for runs. However, the two veterans also had a detailed conversation after the match and there is no second guessing what the topic could be about.

Notably, during the India-Pakistan match at T20 World Cup 2024, Kamran Akmal hurled a racial slur at Arshdeep, where he mocked his religion. Harbhajan Brutally slammed Akmal for his comments for which the Pakistani also apologised. Thus, the interaction between the two would be about the same.

On a show for ARY News, where Kamran Akmal was present as a guest, he mocked Arshdeep over his religion and said ’12 baj gaye hain (It is 12'O Clock)'. Meanwhile, another co-panellist joined in and said, 'No Sikh should be allowed to bowl at noon.' 

In reply, Harbhajan slammed Akmal and Tweeted, "Lakh di laanat tere Kamraan Akmal.. You should know the history of Sikhs before you open your filthy mouth. We Sikhs saved your mothers and sisters when they were abducted by invaders, the time invariably was 12 o'clock. Shame on you...Have some Gratitude," he posted.

Later Akmal also issued an apology for his remarks, but he faced heavy criticism for his comments.
