India's dynamic batter Rinku Singh recently revealed that he wants to play all formats of the game. The UP batter has shown interest in playing red-ball cricket.

In an exclusive interview with News24, Rinku Singh stated that everyone plays white ball cricket, but playing Test cricket is a big deal at the present time.

“I want to play all three formats of the game. I like playing Test cricket a lot. My batting average in red-ball cricket is 55. Mujhe bahut pasand hai laal ball khelna. Bahut maja ata hai mujhe khelne mein. Test cricket is very big cricket. White-ball to sab khelte hai magar Test khelna bahut badi baat hai aaj ke time mein. Toh vo mai khelna chahunga,”  Rinku said.

Rinku has been integral part for India in white-ball cricket, however after Rinku's exclusion from the Duleep Trophy 24-25 by BCCI, it seems like he is not in Ajit Agarkar's committee plans for red-ball cricket as of now.

Rinku Singh not included in Duleep Trophy

Despite Rinku Singh's impressive average of 54.70 in first-class cricket, Singh was not selected for the upcoming Duleep Trophy, scheduled to start on September 5.

However, the left-handed batter revealed why he was not included. He did not play many Ranji Trophy matches last season, and his recent red-ball performances were the reason he didn’t get selected. Rinku in his last red-ball outing for UP in Ranji Trophy scored 26 runs off 33 balls in a drawn match against Andhra.

The star batter was last seen in action in the T20I series against Sri Lanka in July.
