Jay Shah Reveals Final Date For Finalising Nature Of IPL 2025 Auction 'We Will Make Decisions In...,'

Jay Shah, the honorary secretary of the BCCI has been the centre of attraction in recent times with big decisions pending on Champions Trophy 2025 and nature of IPL 2025. 

The all-important meeting between BCCI and IPL franchises took place on Wednesday, 31st of August and there were quite a few varied suggestions from the 10 franchises, something which BCCI have to look into and find a common ground soon.


Jay Shah Provides Timeline

Now, according to Times of India, Jay Shah has assured that they have discussed all the issues with the franchises and will take the decision in a week's time. It means that there will be more clarity on issues like player retentions, Impact Player rule, Right to Match card, the nature of IPL 2025 auction around 7th or 8th August.

'We have discussed everything at the meeting. We'll make decisions in a week's time."

However, some reports have suggested that BCCI has told franchises that the final decision will be taken by the end of August, but it seems that the blueprint will be created in a week's time as assured by Jay Shah.
