Bangladesh are scheduled to play two-match Test series in Pakistan and ahead of the tour, BCB have asked for a security consultant who will maintain constant communication on the security status and will help provide that extra layer of safety to the Bangladesh players.

However, BCB cricket operation chairman Jalal Yunus has expressed his satisaction at the overall security assurance provided by PCB and added that Pakistan have promised state-level security to their team just like it was provided during the Asia Cup 2023.

"Look providing safety is up to them (Pakistan) and we go there because they assure us to provide state-level security and after they assured us about it, the tour was fixed. I guess you have seen in the Asia Cup that the Bangladesh team traveled to Pakistan and they provided us state-level security and we agreed to go on this tour because they ensured us of that."
