There has been an endless debate regarding the Champions Trophy and whether India will travel to Pakistan next year for the marquee tournament. The Champions Trophy will be played after a gap of eight years, earlier in 2017 Pakistan was the last team to win the title when they defeated India.

Amid all the concerns regarding India's participation and travel to Pakistan, a video has gone viral on the internet, in which angry Harbhajan Singh is talking to a TV channel in Pakistan. He also mentioned that Indian players will not travel to Pakistan if there is no proper security available.

Harbhajan Singh Vented His Anger Regarding Safety Of Indian Players In Pakistan

In the clip, the legendary Indian spinner has been angrily arguing and raising questions regarding the safety of the Indian players. He also stated that India will not travel to Pakistan if they don't feel safe and secure.

“Agar humare players wahan par jaake safe nahi hain toh nahi bhejenge. Aap na khelo humare saath. Aapko khelna hai toh khelo warna maat khelo. Indian cricket can survive without Pakistan and If you guys can survive without Indian cricket then do it. (If our players cannot feel safe in Pakistan then they won’t travel to the country. If you don’t want to play against India, then don’t. Indian cricket can survive without Pakistan and if you guys can do it then go ahead),” the former Indian off-spinner said on SportsTak.

According to several reports, the ICC might replace India with Sri Lanka, if there is no permission provided by the Indian Government regarding the team travelling to Pakistan for political and security concerns.

Earlier there were all reports that BCCI want the tournament to be conducted in a hybrid mode, with India's matches scheduled in either Dubai or Sri Lanka.

As per the draft that was made, India and Pakistan have reportedly been kept in the same group alongside Bangladesh and New Zealand. India will face Bangladesh in their first game on February 20, 2025.
