Former India and CSK skipper MS Dhoni is one of the most influential figures in cricket. The 43-year-old enjoys a massive fan following, and his fans wait the entire year for two months of IPL action to see their idol play. 

While Dhoni's participation in the upcoming edition of the cash-studded league is yet to be confirmed, MSD finally broke the silence on the viral ' Thala For a Reason' Meme. The CSK star keeper-batter, speaking at an event for RIGI, revealed that he is aware of the phrase but is unsure whether the slang is used in a positive way or for trolling. 

"I do know, but I don’t know the reason behind it. I’m unsure whether it’s funny, meant to pull my leg, just banter, or a meme. But whatever it is, I think my fans have turned it into something positive for me. I've got brilliant fans, so I don't need to open my mouth to say anything. They're the ones if they feel somebody has been nasty to me, they take care of it. So, I'm just keeping quiet and trying to play good cricket," added Dhoni.
