Jasprit Bumrah is one of the leading bowlers in world cricket and has delivered for India across formats. He has plethora of variations in his kitty and knows how to execute those variations in different match-situations. It is this cleverness, that makes him one of India's finest and he is now all set to lead India in the first Test against Australia at the Perth Stadium.

Leading India is quite a tedious job filled with lot of pressure, but Jasprit Bumrah is a player who knows how to thrive under pressure, and it seems that he is ready to take on the Aussie challenge with his usual swagger and astuteness. In the press conference, before the game, the pacer touched on various points with great clarity, but there was one question from a journalist that did not go well with the Indian captain.

Jasprit Bumrah Shows Fierce Attitude Ahead Of Captaincy Debut In Australia

The journalist asked Jasprit Bumrah about how it feels to lead India as a medium-pace allrounder. In reply, Bumrah was pretty savage and told journalist that he can bowl at 150 KMPH, so one should atleast refer him as a fast bowler captain and not a medium pace one. Bumrah had a smile on his face after his reply, but he made it very clear that he means business and how he values himself as a bowler.

Question - "How does it feel to captain India as a medium pace all rounder?"

Jasprit Bumrah - "Yaar, I can bowl 150kmph, at least you say fast bowler captain."

The pitch in Perth is expected to be fast and will assist pacers, so Jasprit Bumrah is expected to make a big impact and it would be interesting to see how he goes about his leadership against mighty Aussies.
