Rajasthan Royals, the champions of the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League had a fruitful last cycle under the leadership of Sanju Samson. Now, with a mega auction approaching, it is time for them to rebuild their team and eke out some quality players.

Sanju Samson is the leader of the pack, and the team management boasts of big names like  Rahul Dravid. So, expect them to dish out a quality strategy which will help them cover all the bases in the mega auction. Rajasthan Royals already have kept a solid middle order intact with Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer forming the core. He is a quality Indian all-rounder and provides reliability both with the bat and ball. 

The other two all-rounders they can target for their playing XI are low-profile but effective cricketers - Azmatullah Omarzai and Mitchell Santner. They both have the ability to change games both with the bat and ball and come up different skillsets which will provide captain Sanju Samson with more options. It provide depth in the batting and bowling department and could help RR in crucial junctures.

RR have retained Sandeep Sharma and he is sure to start in the playing XI. They would now be looking for another quality Indian pacer and Mukesh Kumar is a great option. The other player they would be desperately looking to buy will be Trent Boult. The left-arm pacer was a crucial player for RR in the last three years and the impact he makes in the Powerplay is critical for any team.  Another player that RR would be looking to buy back is Ravichandran Ashwin.
