Rishabh Pant is set to make a comeback to the Indian team after an absence of close to 1.5 years after surviving a horrific road accident in December 2022. The southpaw, just like the fans is evidently excited about being back after so long and has expressed his pleasure, calling it a 'different feeling'.

Pant is about to make his return to the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup after last playing an international game for India back in Mirpur when India played against Bangladesh on December 22-25, 2022. Here's what he had to say about the comeback,

"Getting back on the field with an Indian jersey on is a different feeling altogether. this is something I missed a lot. Hopefully, I make it count and make it better from here."

"Seeing the team here and meeting them again, spending time, having fun with them, having a conversation with them, I really enjoyed," the wicketkeeper added.

On playing in the United States of America for the first time and what they are going to expect from the pitches,

"We are used to playing in certain countries but this is a different prospect. It has opened up a different channel for sport because I feel cricket is growing around the world and...getting the exposure here would be nice for cricket as well as USA cricket."

"New pitches are there. I'm just getting used to the conditions. The sun is a little bit brighter here, so just getting used to the conditions over here. Let's see how it goes," Pant added.

Rishabh Pant recently returned to the IPL for the first time after his injury layoff followed by rehab and had an eventful and break-free season. He scored 446 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 155 alongside 11 catches and 5 stumpings.
