[Watch] Pant's Batting Power In First Net Session For India After Deadly Accident

Rishabh Pant, the talented wicketkeeper batter is back with the Indian team after a long layoff and is getting his act together for the all-important T20 World Cup. He recently led Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024 and played some sparkling knocks with the bat as well, and would be hoping to continue that form in the all-important World Cup.

In a video released by BCCI of the training session of Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper batter is seen sharing some light moments with his teammates and batting in the nets as well. It is a sort of new beginning for Pant who met with a deadly accident in December 2022 and finally made his comeback in IPL where he looked comfortable and that has now brought him back into the India side.

India will start their campaign against Ireland on 5th of June at New York and Pant is likely to play in the middle order as a first-choice wicketkeeper over Sanju Samson. Overall, India have a strong arsenal at their disposal, and would be itching to put the World Cup 2023 final heartbreak behind and finally bring home the ICC trophy that has eluded them for 11 long years.
