'He Is A Great Leader And Selfless Leader': Sameer Rizvi Heaps Praise On Rohit Sharma

Chennai Super Kings batter Sameer Rizvi, who is currently playing at the UP T20 League, has heaped praises on Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. He regarded Rohit as a fearless batter and a great leader.

The CSK star is a talented right-hand batter, who was signed by CSK for a whopping amount of INR 8.4 crore in the IPL 2024 auction

"Rohit Sharma is a fearless batter. I love his batting, he's a great leader and also a selfless batter."

Previously, Rizvi also talked about his admiration for both MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. He called MS Dhoni his true inspiration and also expressed his gratefulness on being able to share  the dressing room with MS Dhoni in his first IPL season.

Sameer Rizvi's IPL career

Speaking about Sameeri Rizvi's IPL career, he was bought by Chennai Super Kings ahead of the IPL 2024 auction for a sum of INR 8.4 Crores. During the tournament, Rizvi impressed with the bat playing a couple of fiery cameos. In eight games, Rizvi scored 121 runs at a strike rate of about 118.60. Notably, he was used as the impact sub in most of the games

Sameer Rizvi who is serving as the skipper of the Kanpur Superstars in the UP T20 League has been a strong force to reckon with in the tournament. He has scored 137 runs in 3 matches at an impressive average of over 45. Even in the previous edition, he slammed two centuries and has time and again demonstrated his batting prowess.
