Royal Challengers Bengaluru's own Manoj Bhandage, currently playing for Mysuru Warriors, unleashed a whirlwind innings of 44 runs off just 13 balls in the final of Maharaja T20 2024. Bhandage's performance was a spectacle, as he dazzled fans and critics alike with his aggressive stroke play and sheer dominance at the crease.

Bhandage's knock was a game-changer, significantly boosting his team's total. His innings were a display of power and precision, marked by electrifying boundaries and colossal sixes, including a staggering 24 runs in the final over.

His 44-run blitz, featuring 2 fours and 5 sixes, showcased his ability to dismantle bowling attacks and provide a thrilling conclusion to the innings. While he is yet to make his debut for RCB in the IPL, the Bengaluru crowd was left spellbound by his excellence during the game.

Mysore Warriors Dominate With A 200+ Score

A mammoth total was thrown by the Mysore Warriors in the Maharaja T20 2024 final to prove their mettle and set up an intense contest. CA Karthik's dismissal in the fourth over did briefly create a void, but Karthik lit it up with an explosive 71 off 44, marking his third consecutive half-century. His partnership with skipper Karun Nair, who made 66 off 45 balls, was crucial, as the two put on 81 runs for the second wicket.

The sparkling innings by Karthik finally came to an end when Shubhang Hegde accounted for his wicket, not before he reached a career-best score for himself. Nair's knock also fetched him the orange cap this season, taking him past Abhinav Manohar's tally.

The late-innings fireworks from Manoj Bhandage further powered the Warriors, setting a mammoth total and thus gave the Bengaluru Blasters a target of 207, that was daunting to say the least. Naveen was on the forefront for the bowling attack with two important wickets, while Kranthi Kumar and Hegde pocketed a wicket each.

At the time of writing, the second innings has already begun and Bengaluru Blasters are at 75/5.
