On July 7, former India captain MS Dhoni is celebrating his 43rd birthday. Dhoni enjoys a massive fan following and is one of the most- influential figures in the cricket world. 

On Thala's special day, the internet was flooded with wishes for the ex-CSK skipper, while cricket pundits and his current & former teammates took to social media platforms to wish the captain cool. 

The one wish that has stood out from the rest is of his current CSK teammate Ravindra Jadeja. The 35-year-old uploaded a post on Instagram, wishing Dhoni on his 43rd birthday with his iconic photo with MSD after the IPL 2023 final and referred to the captain cool as his favourite person in cricket.

Jadeja's post has also highlighted the bond between these two players. Once there were media reports that all was not well between the two as Jadeja had issues with thala and CSK management.

The rumours started after Jadeja succeeded Dhoni as CSK skipper ahead of IPL 2022 but was removed mid-season because of poor results. The reports further suggested that the all-rounder wanted to leave the franchise, but eventually, things were resolved internally.
