On Thursday, July 4, Team India returned to India after being stuck in Barbados for four days because of cyclone Beryl. 

Upon landing in the national capital, the Men in Blue received a grand welcome at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. From there, they headed to the hotel and soon departed for PM Narendra Modi's residence for an interaction over breakfast.

The team had a light-hearted conversation with the PM and then left for Mumbai for the bus parade. In the latest events, leading news agency ANI released the footage of the interaction, where the PM asked several questions regarding the World Cup to Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah. 

Meanwhile, Modiji also turned his attention towards Yuzi Chahal, who was sitting quietly. The PM decided to pull the leg-spinner's legs and teased him on multiple occasions. 

Firstly, PM, out of nowhere asked Chahal why is he sitting quietly which saw the rest of the Indian team burst into laughter. Later, when Rohit was describing his iconic walk to collect the trophy, Modiji interrupted him and asked, "Was it Chahal's Idea?"

Chahal failed to get a single game in the World Cup, as the Indian management preferred Kuldeep Yadav over him to feature in the playing XI.
