Mohammad Amir rolled back the years with a brilliant performance that earned him the Player of the Match award in CPL 2025. The left-arm pacer, interestingly, pulled off the aura farming celebration to join the infamous trend.

Amir, representing Trinbago Knight Riders, rattled Antigua and Barbuda Falcons’ batting lineup with a match-winning spell. In the first inning, Amir picked up 3 wickets for just 22 runs in his 4 overs, which restricted Falcons to a 146-run total.

Mohammad Amir Farms Aura With Viral Trendy Celebration

Apart from his spell, Mohammad Amir also stole the spotlight with a unique celebration. After dismissing a batter, Amir surprised fans by doing the famous “aura farming kid” celebration that has gone viral on social media.

The trend began with an 11-year-old Indonesian boy, Rayyan Arkan Dikha, dancing calmly atop a speeding traditional racing boat during the Pacu Jalur festival in Riau. His composed moves and unbothered expression went viral, inspiring the term "Aura Farming."

"The wicket was offering some help early on. When there is help I always try to swing the new ball. Everybody is doing it on social media so I thought I will also do it (referring to his aura farming kid celebration)," Amir said in post-game interview.
