Former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad is in Ayodhya to attend the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Mandir, alongside several other distinguished cricketers and former stars invited to the event in Uttar Pradesh. 

Prasad shared a clip of him standing in front of the Ram Temple on Monday which has gone viral. In the video, the former cricketer can be heard saying: 'Ek hi nara, ek hi naam, Jai Shree Ram'.

Ram Mandir is officially inaugurated on Monday, four years after the significant Supreme Court decision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes charge of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony, unveiling the idol of Ram Lalla.

Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, and several other cricket luminaries have also received invitations to attend the Ayodhya ceremony. 

Kumble, Tendulkar, and Ravindra Jadeja have been seen at the ceremony, though Kohli and Dhoni have yet to make an appearance.

The Ram temple inauguration has also seen many politicians, industrialists, and film stars attending the event. Notable personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, and Ayushman Khurana were spotted in the sacred city. 

The majestic structure received an investment of INR 1,800 crore, funded through donations gathered by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The Trust successfully amassed over Rs 3,500 crore from well-wishers across India and overseas.
