Ahead of the highly anticipated Prana Pratishtha Ceremony of Lord Rama, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja marked his presence in Ayodhya to witness the grand event up close and personal.

After a wait of multiple centuries, Lord Rama's birth place, Ayodhya, will welcome its deity home as the Pran Prathishtha ceremony is being scheduled today. The sacred temple is decked with flowers as the Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, performs the much-awaited ceremony.

That being said, to further elevate the magnitude of the grand event, the Indian government handed out invitations to some of the biggest names in the country from all walks of life.

From the cricketing world, the likes of Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, R Ashwin, and Harmanpreet Kaur, amongst many others, received an official invitation to grace the notable event.

While Kohli and Tendulkar were among the first few guests who arrived in Ayodhya, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja followed their cue as he arrived at the temple some time ago. Jadeja was clicked by a fan in a vibrant yellow kurta and an orange cloth wrapped around his neck.

He will witness the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Rama in Ayodhya along with other celebrities and business tycoons.

That being said, Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli are both included in India's first two Test games squad against England, which is scheduled for Thursday in Hyderabad. The duo apparently sought permission from the BCCI to fly to Ayodhya for the event.

While skipper Rohit Sharma skipped the event, permission was granted to Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja accordingly.

It's important to note that India will host England in a five-game Test series starting on January 25, 2024. The first Test will go on floors in Hyderabad, for which both sides assembled over the weekend.
