'De dana dan'- Sehwag Applauds Jaiswal's Spin Mastery With Back-to-Back Centuries Vs ENG

In the ongoing 3rd Test match between India and England in Rajkot, cricket fans witnessed the magnificent display of batting by the young Indian opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, as he slammed yet another century in the series, earning accolades from none other than former Indian opener Virender Sehwag.

Jaiswal's masterful treatment of the spinners drew admiration from Sehwag, renowned for his aggressive batting style during his playing days. Sehwag took to the social media platform 'X' to express his awe, stating, 

"Back to back century for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Treating Spinners the way they should be treated.De dana dan."

The 22-year-old left-handed batter showcased exceptional form throughout the series, solidifying his position as the leading run-scorer with a total of 435 runs. 

His century, achieved on Day 3 of the Test match in Rajkot, propelled India to a commanding position at 196-2, with a substantial lead stretched to 322 runs at the end of the day's play.

Jaiswal's innings was characterised by a blend of caution and aggression. Beginning cautiously, he swiftly accelerated, reaching his half-century in 79 balls before unleashing a barrage of attacking shots against the English spinners. 

His adept use of sweeps, reverse sweeps and powerful strikes saw him reach his century milestone in just 122 deliveries.

This remarkable feat marks Jaiswal's second century in the series, further emphasising his dominance with the bat. With the 5-test match series currently levelled at 1-1, it is interesting to watch whether Jaiswal's century will play a crucial role in India leading the series 2-1 at Rajkot.
