The wicketkeeper said that it was an unbelievable feeling after India lifted the trophy and he also mentioned that he will be very fortunate to be part of a wonderful team.

"Unbelievable experience right after the last ball of the 20th over where we won the final in Barbados and I could remember myself, like I couldn't stop smiling for the next one or two hours actually, so the emotion was so high. So I think I believe that I was very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful team. I think all the credit has to go to the whole BCCI and the whole cricket team and the coach and the captain and each and every one who contributed," said Samson.

Samson also stated that the entire team should be given the credit along with BCCI and support staff after the historic win. He said that the triumph in the West Indies and the USA was a complete team effort and felt that everyone who played made some crucial contributions to the win.

"So, especially looking at how we played this World Cup. I think it was a complete team effort. I think it was the whole like 11 to 12 guys who all played. They all made some crucial contributions. So it was a great team effort by everyone," said Samson.

The 29-year-old revealed how the emotions are still flowing through the entire team brimming with unbelievable experiences.
