Sanju Samson is one of the most highly rated cricketers in India, but somehow he has got consistent chances in Indian Blue over the years. The man has matured quite a lot in the last few years though, and in the fifth T20I against Zimbabwe, he has again shown his class. 

India lost three wickets in the Powerplay, but Sanju Samson along with Riyan Parag steadied the ship, and after getting set his accelerated nicely which included two sixes of consecutive deliveries in the 12th over against Brandon Mavuta. The first of those sixes was a straight six that went out of the ground and travelled 110-metre.

Riyan Parag at the other end also showed good temperament, but in a bid to hit one out of the ground, ended up losing his wicket after scoring 22 off 24 balls. Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal started off the match with a six but lost his wicket in the first over itself and it was followed by wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill with Zimbabwe showing lot fight after the hammering they got in the fourth T20I.

India took the unassailable lead of 3-1 in the series after the win in the 4th game, and would be looking to get a win in this game to stamp their authority.
