Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has long been a cornerstone of Indian cricket, known for his unmatched consistency and work ethic. 

Recently, RCB pacer Vyshak Vijayakumar expressed his admiration for Kohli, highlighting the profound impact the ace batter has had on his career.

The bond between Kohli and Vyshak has grown through their time together at RCB, with the 27-year-old pacer praising Kohli’s approach to the game.

"Training with Virat Kohli can really impact you as a player. I admire his work ethic, process, and consistency. It is admirable how confident he is before every game, I try to have the same confidence every time," Vyshak Vijayakumar said.

Kohli, at 35, continues to inspire not only fans but also emerging cricketers like Vyshak. Despite having achieved nearly everything in cricket, Kohli's influence remains strong, shaping the next generation of players.

Vyshak, who made his IPL debut in 2023, picked up nine wickets in seven matches. In IPL 2024, he played four games and added four more wickets to his tally. 

The experience of training alongside Kohli has been invaluable for Vyshak, who also recounted the advice given by another RCB star, Mohammed Siraj, after a tough game.
