Chris Gayle also dubbed the “Universe Boss” is arguably the most entertaining cricketer in international cricket. The 44-year-old is highly renowned for his explosive batting abilities and his comical on-field behavior that would leave everyone in splits. Furthermore, he has also made significant contributions for his national side across all formats primarily the T20 format and also in the IPL while being part of RCB and PBKS franchises.

While his professional cricketing career has drawn to a close, Gayle is eagerly exploring alternative career pathways. Although he has a strong inclination towards singing, the West Indian legend made a startling revelation while expressing his interest in acting. During his conversation with IndiaToday, Gayle revealed that Bollywood has long been calling his name and looks forward to pursuing this opportunity with open arms.

"Bollywood has been calling my name in recent times, and I’m pretty familiar with the movie industry in India. Recently, I did a commercial over there in India with a Bollywood actor, and it’s something special to look for from the Universe Boss in the near future.”

Gayle has already been featured in quite a few Indian commercials with several high-profile Bollywood personalities which indicates that he is fairly acquainted with the industry.

In addition to his acting ambitions, the Universe Boss also spoke at length about his music album ‘Tropical House - Cruises to Jamaica' which has recently made it to the Grammy Awards 2024. Gayle admitted that this was indeed a huge moment for him as his album will feature amongst some very big names like Ms.Lauryn Hill, Morgan Heritage, and Reggae Giants to name a few.

It goes without saying that Gayle is a man of extraordinary talents. However, it remains to be seen whether he will opt for acting as his next career path. The last time he featured in a cricket match was in the GT20 tournament in Canada which concluded last month.
