Virat Kohli is enjoying his dream run at the World Cup 2023. He is the key player in India's seven successive wins in the tournament. In just seven innings, he has smashed 442 runs including one hundred and four half-centuries, which shows how consistent he has been over all these years and at all World Cup events.

Shoaib Malik, the former Pakistan captain, was explaining how Virat Kohli struggles in the games against spinners, especially the ones who turn the ball into him. With his assessment, Malik received loads of criticism as the fans of Kohli could not bear the fact that Shoaib Malik was trying to teach one of India's greatest batters.

After facing this amount of backlash, Shoaib finally broke his silence and explained what he was trying to say about Virat Kohli on the pre-match show. While doing this analysis he was actually pointing out Babar's weakness but compared Virat Kohli, which the fans could not like.

Here's what Malik said clarifying the statement he made about Virat Kohli:

"Duniya mein na koi batter aaya hai, na hi aayega jo kisi jagah pe phasta na ho. Beshaq woh 1 lakh run bana ley."

While Shoaib was doing his job as an analyst on the pre-match show, the fans could not understand his point and took it personally as it was about their favourite cricketer, Virat Kohli. But Shoaib understood and tried to clarify that, even the greatest of batters have weaknesses.

"You guys didn't get my point. All I said was that any batter, whose feet move across, faces troubles facing spin. If you want examples, there are so many greats; you can ask anyone."

Pointing out the weakness of Virat Kohli against left-arm spin, Shoaib said his feet move across that's why he struggles against that kind of bowler, but he didn't know he would be under the guns after saying this about Virat Kohli.
