The track at WACA is considered as one of the fastest in the world which will offer an extra amount of bounce that benefit the seam bowlers. The batters can also well execute their shots on this ground.

SS-W vs MR-W, 25th Match - Toss Factor

Sides batting second have managed to win three out of the four games played so far at the venue in WBBL 9. The skipper winning the toss will look to field first considering these results this season.

Scenario: If Sydney Sixers Women Fields First

Ashleigh Gardner and Lauren Cheatle have been the top wicket-takers for the Sixers so far in WBBL 9. Both will again have their work cut out as they look to continue picking up wickets that eventually restricts the Renegades to a low total. Skipper Ellyse Perry has been in solid form as she is the leading run-scorer for her side. Perry will again be a vital cog in the run-chase.

Scenario: If Melbourne Renegades Women Fields First

West Indies international and Melbourne skipper Hayley Matthews has snared the most scalps (nine) for her side so far. She would hope to continue his fine bowling form which helps her side in restricting the Sixers to a low score. Georgia Wareham and Harmanpreet Kaur will hold the key in a big run-chase for Melbourne.

Georgia Wareham (MR-W)

Georgia Wareham is leading the batting charts for Melbourne so far in this campaign. The right-handed batter is averaging 45.50 with consistent scores of 36, 47*, 30, 25 and 44 under her belt. Wareham has also managed to pick up eight wickets at an average of 24.50. Her all-round skills will be crucial for Melbourne again in this contest.

Harmanpreet Kaur (MR-W)

India skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur has amassed 158 runs in six innings at an average of 39.50. The right-handed middle-order player has struck one half-century so far in WBBL 9. Harmanpreet has also been handy with the ball as she has picked up five wickets. The Renegades will rely heavily on her if they are up against a big target.

Scenario: If Sydney Sixers Women Fields First

Ellyse Perry (SS-W)

Captain Ellyse Perry is the only player from her side with over 200 runs to her name in this campaign. The right-handed player has amassed 203 runs in five innings at a solid average of 41 which also included two half-centuries. Perry has consistent scores of 31, 49, 50, 59 and 14. She will have to shoulder the responsibility of guiding her side home while chasing.

Ashleigh Gardner (SS-W)

Ashleigh Gardner has racked up the second-most runs after Perry for Sydney. The right-hander has mustered 147 runs at an average of 24.50 with one half-century under her belt. Gardner has picked up the most wickets (12) so far for the Sixers and her team would hope that she continues her all-round performance in this game as well.

SS-W vs MR-W, 25th Match - Big Risk, Big Return Choices

Suzie Bates (SS-W)

New Zealand international Suzie Bates has managed to score just 50 runs so far in six innings. She is averaging a mere 8.33 and one would think that a big knock is just around the corner for the talented Kiwi. She is a risky pick but may just click against the Renegades. Bates is due for a substantial knock which could come in this tie.

Tammy Beaumont (MR-W)

England player Tammy Beaumont has struck the second-most runs for her side so far in this competition. The right-handed opening player is averaging 28 with one fifty. Beaumont is well capable of scoring more than this as she is risky but worthy choice for this game.
