Popular mainstream sports presenter and Jasprit Bumrah's wife, Sanjana Ganesan, recently shut down a troll with a stern reply on the internet after he fat-shamed the new mother on Instagram.

Sanjana Ganesan married Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in a close-knit ceremony in 2021. The duo met at a tour when Sanjana was a presenter for a media house. Friendship turned into a romantic affair, and the couple made it official soon after.

Just five months ago, Sanjana gave birth to the couple's first child, Angad Bumrah. Since then, the sports presenter has been on postpartum leave. However, Bumrah occasionally shares pictures of his newborn with Sanjana to cherish the new phase of his life.

Having said that, ahead of Valentine's Day, Sanjana and Jasprit collaborated with Loreal Pro and posted an advertisement on their Instagram handles. While several fans showered love on the cute couple, a few also posted nasty and demeaning comments below the video post.


Bumrah's wife on body shaming

Trolling on the internet is a new norm in this day and age. But Sanjana was in no mood to take any hate and clapped at one nasty troller who conveniently fat-shamed her.

Sanjana Ganesan is a new mother, and postpartum has taken a toll on her body. However, an ignorant internet user took a shot at her physical appearance and fat-shamed her. 

Ganesan clapped back and replied with a savage comment. She said that people like you are not even good enough to excel in school. Yet, have the guts to comment on a woman's body on social media. 

Ganesan's response went viral on social media, sparking conversations about the prevalence of online bullying and the need to combat it with empathy and respect. Her decision to speak out against fat-shaming resonated with people from all walks of life, prompting an outpouring of support and solidarity from fans and followers.
